Algoma, WI — St. Paul’s Lutheran Church will offer a presentation that provides information that families and friends will want to know as they care for a loved one with Alzheimer’s disease. The event entitled: “It’s Alzheimer’s”—It’s Time for Extraordinary Love, will be held in the church on Sunday, May 6, 2018. The first part of the presentation will be held from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m., followed by lunch. Part two will follow from 11:30 to 1 p.m.
Pastor Curt Seefeldt, Director of Church Relations for The Lutheran Home Association will facilitate discussion on Alzheimer’s diagnosis, treatment options, answers to spiritual questions and family care. Participants will leave with a better understanding of how to provide emotional and spiritual support to all who are affected by the disease. Everyone is invited to attend. There is no charge for the event.
